■About us
Urban International School (UIS) is a private high school in Toronto inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education in Ontario, Canada. Over the last decade, we have offered specialized academic courses that are designed for students who wish to pursue higher education in Canada and around the world. Based on the program students wish to pursue in post-secondary school, UIS prepares a customized study plan that underlies one of our four streams: Engineering, Science/Math, Business, Arts or College. Most of our graduates are accepted in prestigious universities such as the University of Toronto, University of British Columbia, McGill University, among many other Canadian and international universities.
UIS has a friendly and dedicated team of Ontario-certified teachers who teach courses from Grade 7 to Grade 12 to a diverse student body that includes students from Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and South America.

Note:
• Successful candidates eligible to work in Canada will undergo 1–2 months of training at our Toronto campus before transitioning to Tokyo for student recruitment and marketing.
• Candidates outside Toronto may be eligible for coverage of travel expenses to Toronto and return travel to Tokyo.

■ About the Position
We are seeking a Tokyo-based full-time Japanese Student Recruitment & Marketing Associate fluent in Japanese and English.
Based in Tokyo, the Associate will promote UIS and support Japanese student recruitment. Working with a Senior Manager in Toronto, the role includes managing agency relations, school presentations, counselling, and attending education fairs and events. This position requires independent work while representing UIS in Japan.

■ Duties
1. Promote UIS programs to agents and prospective students in Japan through fairs, agency events, school presentations, and counselling sessions.
2. Collect and submit pre-enrollment documents (applications, transcripts, passports, etc.) to the UIS Japan team.
3. Maintain relationships with agencies and parents, and coordinate with the UIS Japan team in Toronto.
4. Translate and localize marketing materials with the Design and Japan teams in Toronto.
5. Track inquiries and maintain the enrollment pipeline. Submit daily and weekly/monthly reports to Management.
6. Report to the President via email and MS Teams.

■Qualifications and Skills
• Must currently reside in Canada and be able to relocate to the Tokyo area by summer
• Speaking Japanese and English Fluently
• Previous knowledge and experience with the educational industry such as high school, post-secondary institutions or ESL schools.
• Able to work outside of regular business hours and on weekends to participate in educational fairs, agency events, and parent/student counselling sessions as required
• A degree in education, languages, marketing or related field
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong administration and organizational skills
• Strong ability to work independently and manage day-to-day responsibilities without on-site supervision, while collaborating closely with the Toronto-based team
• Proven goal-driven student service campaigns in both on/offline
• Recent Graduate is always welcomed for this position.
