Nikuya Meats is looking for an individual for our production sector who is energetic, motivated and has a desire to learn and advance together with our company.
The duties of this production staff position include preparing and cooking meats and other materials, as well as packing the products made on site. For more details, please see the job description below.
Job description:
(below is a list of job responsibilities, but not limited to those listed)
Assist in all aspects of Nikuya’s food manufacturing operations, including but not limited to:
• Meat cutting and slicing, chashu preparation and cooking, ramen production.
• Cleaning of meat cutting room, workstations and other locations, if required.
• Assist in all facets of the preparation and production of products and operations.
• Following assigned work schedules, recipes, and production standards to ensure product
quality, temperature control, and portion control.
• Performing food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, cutting, and cleaning
vegetables, meats, and seafood.
• Packing, unpacking, boxing, and labeling finished products.
• To observe and follow good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
• To observe and follow food safety regulations, guidelines and practices.
Other Occasional Duties
• To perform other reasonable tasks that may be assigned by the President, Director, owner
representative.

応募資格
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada, able to work some overtime hours when needed - Basic English communication skills
- Cooking experience as assistant chef or line cook will be considered an asset
- Hardworking, reliable, punctual
- Quick learner and self-starter with minimal supervision
- Able to work well with others in a fast paced environment with attention to details
