Cleaning and Sanitation: Washing dishes, cleaning workstations, cooking equipment, and food storage areas; sweeping and mopping floors; disposing of trash; ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

Inventory Management: Storing ingredients properly, monitoring stock levels, assisting with deliveries, and reporting damaged or faulty equipment

Team Coordination: Communicating effectively with chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to maintain workflow and timely service

Multitasking and Efficiency: Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality

Food Safety Knowledge: Understanding of hygiene standards, proper food storage, and cross-contamination prevention

Physical Stamina: Capability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work in a high-paced kitchen

Interpersonal Skills: Teamwork, communication, and adaptability to support kitchen operations

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent is often preferred; prior experience in a similar role is advantageous
