仕事内容
<About you and the role>
We’re looking for an energetic, relationship-driven Sales Representative to grow Hokusan’s presence across Vancouver, the Greater Vancouver Area, and British Columbia.
You’ll develop new business, build strong client relationships, manage your sales pipeline, and represent Hokusan within the café, restaurant, hospitality, and foodservice industries.
You’re curious, eager to learn and grow, and take ownership of your work. You have clear goals for what you want to achieve through this role and are motivated to make a meaningful impact.
This role is ideal for someone proactive, organized, confident meeting new people, and motivated by sales growth and results.
<What you’ll do>
- Prospect and develop new clients across Vancouver and BC
- Visit prospective and existing customers to build strong business relationships
- Generate leads through outreach, referrals, networking, and in-person visits
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities
- Manage leads, follow-ups, and opportunities through our CRM
- Work toward monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
- Support existing accounts and identify opportunities for growth
- Participate in tastings, trade shows, and industry events
- Share customer feedback and market insights with the team
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Distribution, and Marketing to deliver excellent client service

<You’re a great candidate if…>
- You have 3+ years of sales, business development, or account management experience.
- You have strong communication and relationship-building skills
- You are comfortable speaking up, sharing ideas, and giving honest, constructive feedback within the team
- You are proactive, self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented
- You are comfortable prospecting and developing your own leads
- You bring new ideas and solutions to the table rather than waiting to be told what to do
- You have experience using a CRM such as Pipedrive, Salesforce, or HubSpot
- You are comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- You have strong written and verbal English skills
- You have valid Canadian work authorization with at least two years remaining, Permanent Residency, or Canadian Citizenship
Experience in sales, business development, wholesale, foodservice, or B2B is an asset.
Interest in Japanese tea, matcha, food, or Japanese culture is also a plus.
A BC driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle are preferred.
